The Jorvik Viking Festival
22 February 2020
Clifford's Tower, York
The Household will provide a contingent of tenth-century warriors at the finale of the 36th Jorvik Viking Festival as guests of our friends Regia Anglorum.

Saxon Rebellions
23-24 May 2020
Newark Castle, Nottinghamshire
The Household will provide William the Conqueror's ruthless Norman knights and soldiers at this event re-enacting the Anglo-Saxon rebellions following the Norman Conquest.

An Audience with William the Conqueror
27-28 June 2020
Fonmon Castle, Vale of Glamorgan
The Household will provide a large royal encampment including knights, soldiers, attendants, and cooks for this event marking William the Conqueror's only recorded visit to Wales in 1081 as well as providing King William himself.

Knights of Hedingham Castle
18-19 July 2020
Hedingham Castle, Essex
The Household will provide combatants for a competitive tournament showcasing the discipline and ferocity of early thirteenth-century knights.

The Battle of Evesham
1-2 August 2020
Crown Meadow, Evesham
The Household will provide Simon de Montfort's household troops for this re-enactment of the defining battle of the Second Barons' War in 1265.

The Marshal's Visit
29-31 August 2020
Tintern Abbey, Monmouthshire
This event marks the 800th anniversary of the death of Isabel de Clare, wife of William Marshal, who was buried at Tintern Abbey. The Household will provide a living history encampment with knights and craftspeople from the entourage of William Marshal.

The Battle of Hastings
10-11 October 2020
Battle Abbey, East Sussex
The Household will provide Norman knights and soldiers at this re-enactment of the Battle of Hastings in 1066, one of the most important dates in British history.
